Why I Chose to Travel Solo
By Amber | En Route Luxe Lifestyle
There’s a certain magic that happens when you pack your bags, book a flight, and set out into the world—alone. It’s not just about the destination or the aesthetics (though I do love a great oceanfront suite and dreamy sunrise). Traveling solo is a conscious decision I made to reconnect with myself, rediscover freedom, and design the kind of life I once only dreamed about.
Traveling solo has taught me to listen to my intuition, honor my needs, and be more present. I no longer feel the pressure to fit someone else’s itinerary or compromise on what lights me up.
There’s something deeply affirming about being alone in a new country and still feeling at home within yourself.
Through En Route Luxe Lifestyle, I share glimpses of this journey because I want other women to know: you don’t have to wait for someone to join you. Your passport and your purpose are enough.
Traveling alone has allowed me to connect more deeply with the world and, ultimately, with myself.
Here’s to the freedom to roam, the luxury of solitude, and the endless journey of self-discovery.
